Works and Production Management Opportunities

Works and Production Management vacancies are available for candidates who have a good relevant educational background and can demonstrate a proven experience of production or works management in the rubber or thermoplastic masterbatch and compounding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities will include manufacturing, maintenance, warehousing, material movement,
Plant efficiencies, quality, and trouble shooting.

We’re looking for:

A strong engineering background with a minimum of eight years’ experience in a similar management background and company size.
We think you will need a minimum of four years in a senior role.
A “hands on” efficient man manager with good communication skills with ability to supply clear and concise reports
You should be able to manage a manufacturing team by supplying logical, consistent instructions
The ability to delegate effectively is essential
Ability to work in a small senior management team

Education

Engineering or science related subject, up to degree level
Experience of ISO 9001 and H&S legislation.

Turnover in excess of £10 million
Currently 10 production lines including internal mixers and twin screw extruders
Capital expenditure in last few years in excess of £0.50 million
Current relatively small management team requires additional new blood to allow further development of the company.
